Jakarta- The Attorney General Muhammad Prasetyo said that summoning Setya Novanto related cases of alleged evil of agreement does not require the permission of the President Joko Widodo. The House of Representative's (DPR) ex speaker will call soon for questioning.
“Soon we’ll ask for information. We’re on meeting, tomorrow we’ll decide when (summoning Novanto),” said The Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Arminsyah, Thursday (1/7/2016).
Arminsyah said that the status of the handling of the case is still in the investigation stage. Whereas, so far prosecutors have obtained a number of statements from various parties, including the President Director of PT Freeport Indonesia , Maroef Sjamsoeddin .
“Not yet, now we are asking for information. The inquiry in order to collect the evidences,” Arminsyah said.

We have done studies that we have studied the existing provisions . Basic permit application to the president in fact in accordance with Article 224 of Law MD3, there is stated that the inquiry board members require the President's approval so far as it relates to the duties of a board member in question , " said Prasetyo, Thrusday (1/7/2016).
But a moment later , Prasetyo said that what Novanto have done unrelated with his duties as House speaker. Prasetyo said no information from the Secretary General of the House that a meeting that -called ' papa ask for stock ' is not on the agenda.
"What Setnov unrelated to his job , confirmed by the statement of the Secretary General of the House that it wasn’t scheduled . Because it was unrelated, then we don’t need to ask permission, " said Prasetyo .
